Through the dedicated work of our OHS department, we strive daily to identify risks, promote preventive actions, and create an increasingly safe and healthy work environment.

Clam relies on specialized teams, dedicated with maximum attention and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety Management. Everyone—from senior management to our staff—takes on the daily commitment to put safety and well-being first.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy

Clam demonstrates its commitment to Occupational Health and Safety by seeking prevention and establishing actions aimed at:

Promote the health and physical and mental integrity of employees;

Identify, manage, and reduce risks associated with processes and services provided;
Work preventively to reduce risks to the Health and Safety of employees;
Comply with the legal Health and Safety requirements defined by competent authorities;
Continuously develop and optimize processes related to Health and Safety;
Operate with the commitment to involve employees in matters and decisions related to OHS.

Occupational Health and Safety Management System – ISO 45001:2018.

In 2023, publicly formalizing Clam's commitment to OHS processes, we sought and achieved the Occupational Health and Safety Certification – ISO 45001 by RINA, an internationally recognized certification body.

Initiatives That Make This Commitment Possible

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT

Use of an EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) legal requirements management platform for legislation identification and legal compliance verification.

OCCUPATIONAL RISK MAPPING

Conducting the occupational risk mapping process through the internal Occupational Risk Management procedure of the OHS Management System, in accordance with NR 01.

INSPECTION PROGRAM

Safety technicians periodically perform EHS inspections via the "Produtivo" com- puterized system. Inspection forms cover topics such as: vehicles, risk management, tools, and others. There are also targeted inspections, according to the OHS management schedule.

AUDITS

The Occupational Health and Safety Management System perform periodic audits, with two occurring annually (one internal and one external), conducted by a technical body of Auditors to verify compliance with legal requirements, ISO 45001 standards, client requirements, and more.

COMMUNICATION AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

Through campaigns, health actions, safety meetings, and training, we increase employee awareness and engagement, preventing accidents and medical leave. Additionally, a monthly "Safety Moment" meeting is held with all Clam employees to address health and safety issues.
